Mumbai Local Train to operate 2020 services with effect from 01-11-2020
Railways to run 610 more daily Special Suburban Services in Mumbai from 1st November, taking the total number of services to 2020.
This will help maintain social distancing, avoid overcrowding & enhance passenger convenience.

Additional 610 suburban services to the existing 1410 services
Additional 314 Suburban services on CR to the existing 706, making the total 1020 services
Additional 296 Suburban services on WR to the existing 704, making the total 1000 services

In order to maintain social distancing and to avoid crowding, Railways have decided to increase the daily suburban services from 1410 to 2020 with effect from 1.11.2020.
Currently 704 suburban services on Western Railway and 706 suburban services on Central Railway are being operated.

It is also requested that travellers should follow medical and social protocols as mandated for C0VID19.
