South Central Railway Extends Special Trains during December 2022 and January 2023

Central Railway Christmas and New Year Special Train 2023 List

Central Railway to run 42 Special Services during Winter / Christmas

Central Railway will run 42 special train services to clear the extra rush of passengers during Winter / Christmas 2022. The details are as under:-

(1) Pune – Ajni Weekly Specials (10)

01443 Special will leave Pune at 15.15 hrs every Tuesday from 06.12.2022 to 03.01.2023 (5 services) and arrive Ajni at 04.50 hrs next day.

01444 Special will leave Ajni at 19.50 hrs every Wednesday from 07.12.2022 to 04.01.2023 (5 services) and arrive Pune at 11.35 hrs next day

Halts: Daund Chord Line , Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval , Nandura, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon and wardha
Composition: 13 AC-3 Tier and two Generator Vans.

(2) Mumbai – Nagpur Weekly Specials (10)

01449 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 20.15 hrs every Tuesday from 06.12.2022 to 03.01.2023 (5 services) and arrive Nagpur at 10.25 hrs next day.

01450 Special will leave Nagpur at 13.30 hrs every Friday from 09.12.2022 to 07.01.2023 (5 services) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 03.45 hrs next day.

Halts: Kalyan, Igatpuri (for 01450 only), Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera and Wardha
Composition: One First AC, Three AC 2-Tier, 15 AC-3 Tier, One Pantry car and two Generator Vans.

(3) Pune – Nagpur Weekly Specials (10)

01451 Special will leave Nagpur at 13.30 hrs every Wednesday from 07.12.2022 to 04.01.2023 (5 services) and arrive Pune at 06.25 hrs next day.

01452 Special will leave Pune at 10.45 hrs every Thursday from 08.12.2022 to 05.01.2023 (5 services) and arrive Nagpur at 03.00 hrs next day.

Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval , Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera and Wardha.

01454 Special will leave Mangalore Jn at 18.45 hrs every Saturday from 10.12.2022 to 07.01.2023 (5 services) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.25 hrs next day.

Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn, Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookimbika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi and Surathkal .

Composition: One AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper class and 5 General second class including two Guard’s brake vans.

(5) Mumbai – Madgaon Weekly Specials (2)

01455 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 22.15 hrs on 01.01.2023 and arrive Madgaon Jn at 10.30 hrs next day.

01456 Special will leave Madgaon Jn at 11.30 hrs on 02.01.2023 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.45 hrs same day.

Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali

Composition: One AC 2-Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper class and 5 General second class including two Guard’s brake vans.

Reservation: Bookings for special trains no 01443/01444, 01449/01450, 01451/01452, 01453 and 01455/01456 on special charges will open on 04.12.2022 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.

CR to Run 36 Weekly Winter / Christmas Special Trains

Central Railway will run 36 weekly special trains on special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Karmali, Panvel / Pune- Karmali to clear the extra rush of passengers during Winter / Christmas 2022. The details are as under:-

(1) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Karmali Bi-Weekly specials (16)

Train No.01459 Bi-Weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 20.45 hrs on every Monday and Wednesday from 19.12.2022 to 11.1.2023 (8 services) and will arrive Karmali at 08.30 hrs next day.

Train No.01460 Bi-Weekly special will leave Karmali at 09.20 hrs on every Tuesday and Thursday from 20.12.2022 to 12.1.2023 (8 services) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 21.30 hrs same day.

Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim.

(2) Panvel – Karmali Weekly Specials (10)

Train No.01447 Weekly special will leave Panvel at 22.00 hrs on every Saturday from 17.12.2022 to 14.1.2023 (5 services) and will arrive Karmali at 08.30 hrs next day.

Train No.01448 Weekly special will leave Karmali at 09.20 hrs on every Saturday from 17.12.2022 to 14.1.2023 (5 services) and will arrive Panvel at 20.15 hrs same day.

Halts: Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim.

Composition: One AC-2 Tier, 4 AC-3 Tier, 11 sleeper class and 6 General second class including 2 Guard’s Brake Van.

(3) Pune – Karmali Weekly Specials (10)

Train No. 01445 Weekly special will leave Pune at 17.30 hrs on every Friday from 16.12.2022 to 13.1.2023 (5 services) and will arrive Karmali.at 8.30 hrs on next day.

Train No. 01446 Weekly special will leave Karmali. at 09.20 hrs on every Sunday from 18.12.2022 to 15.1.2020 (5 services) and will arrive Pune at 23.35 hrs same day

Halts: Lonavala, Kalyan Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim

Composition: One AC-2 Tier, 4 AC-3 Tier, 11 sleeper class and 6 General second class including 2 Guard’s Brake vans.

WR to Run Special Trains:  Winter, Christmas and New Year

WR TO RUN FIVE PAIRS OF WINTER SPECIAL TRAINS TO VARIOUS DESTINATIONS

For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush of passenger traffic during Christmas Festival, Western Railway has decided to run 5 pairs of Special Trains on Special Fare to various destinations. Passengers kindly take note that linen will not be provided in these trains.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of trains are as under:

1. Train No. 09207 / 09208 Bandra Terminus – Bhavnaear Terminus Special [4 Trips]

Train No. 09207 Bandra Terminus – Bhavnagar Terminus Special will depart from Bandra Terminus every Friday at 9.15 hrs and reach Bhavnagar Terminus at 23.45 hrs, the same day. This train will run on 23rd & 30th December, 2022. Similarly, Train No. 09208 Bhavnagar Terminus

– Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Bhavnagar Terminus every Thursday at 14.50 hrs and reach Bandra Terminus at 06.00 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 22nd & 29th December, 2022.

Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Surendranagar Gate, Botad, Dhola, Songadh and Bhavnagar Para stations in both directions.

This train comprises of AC 2 – Tier, AC 3 – Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

2. Train No. 09325 / 09326 Bandra Terminus – Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special [4 Trips]

Train No. 09325 Bandra Terminus – Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special will depart from Bandra Terminus every Friday at 15.30 hrs and reach Dr. Ambedkar Nagar at 07.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 23rd & 30th December, 2022. Similarly, Train No. 09326 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar

– Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar every Thursday at 20.00 hrs and reach Bandra Terminus at 12.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 22nd & 29th December, 2022.

Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Dewas and Indore stations in both directions.

The train comprises AC 2 – Tier, AC 3 – Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

3. Train No. 09575 / 09576 Bandra Terminus – Okha Special [4 Trips]

Train No. 09575 Bandra Terminus – Okha Special will depart from Bandra Terminus every Wednesday at 06.15 hrs and reach Okha at 01.35 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 21st & 28th December, 2022.

Similarly, Train No. 09576 Okha – Bandra Terminus special will depart from Okha every Tuesday at 8.30 hrs and reach Bandra Terminus at 04.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 20th & 27th December, 2022.

Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot, Flapa, Jamnagar, Khambalia and Dwarka stations in both directions.

The train comprises AC 2 – Tier, AC 3 – Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

4. Train No. 09057 / 09058 Udhna – Mangaluru Superfast Special [8 Trips]

Train No. 09057 Udhna – Mangaluru Superfast Special will depart from Udhna at 20.00 hrs and will reach Mangaluru Jn at 18.30 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 21st, 25th & 28th December, 2022 & on 1st January, 2023.

Similarly, Train No. 09058 Mangaluru – Udhna Superfast Special will depart Mangaluru at 20.45 hrs and reach Udhna at 19.25 hrs, the next day.

This train will run on 22nd, 26th & 29th December, 2022 & on 2nd January, 2023. Enroute this train will halt at Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Canacona, Karwar, Ankola, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookmbika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surthal stations in both stations.

This train comprises of AC 2 – Tier, AC 3 – Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

5. Train No. 09412 / 09411 Ahmedabad – Karmali Special [4 Trips]

Train No. 09412 Ahmedabad – Karmali Special will depart from Ahmedabad every Tuesday at 09.30 hrs. & reach Karmali at 05.00 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 20th & 27th December, 2022.

Similarly, Train No. 09411 Karmali – Ahmedabad Special will depart from Karmali every Wednesday at 9.20 hrs. & reach Ahmedabad at 07.00 hrs, the next day.

This train will run on 21st & 28th December, 2022. Enroute this train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim stations in both directions.

This train comprises of AC 2 – Tier, AC 3 – Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

The booking for Train Nos. 09575, 09576 & 09412 will open from 18th December, 2022 and Train Nos. 09325, 09326, 09207, 09208 and 09057 open from 19th December, 2022 at all PRS Counters and on IRCTC website. Southern Railway Special Trains For Christmas Festival

Special fare Special trains will be operated in order to clear extra rush during the Christmas season as detailed below.

1. Train No 06021 / 06022 Tambaram – Tirunelveli Junction – Chennai Egmore Special fare special trains

Train No. 06021 Tambaram – Tirunelveli Junction Special fare special will leave Tambaram at 21.00 on 22nd December, 2022 (Thursday) and reach Tirunelveli Junction at 09.00 hrs on the next day i.e., Friday.

In the return direction, Train No. 06022 Tirunelveli Junction – Chennai Egmore Special fare special will leave Tirunelveli Junction at 13.00 on 23rd December, 2022 (Friday) and reach Chennai Egmore at 03.20 hrs on the next day i.e., Saturday.

Coach Composition: One – AC First Class Coach, Two – AC 2-Tier Coaches, Six – AC 3-Tier Coaches, Two – AC 3-Tier Coaches, (Economy) Six – Sleeper Class Coaches, Two – General Second Coaches and & One General Second Class (Divyangjan Friendly) & Luggage cum Brake Van and One – Luggage Brake & Generator van (Total: 21)

Train No. 06041 Tambaram – Nagercoil Junction Superfast Special fare special will leave Tambaram at 19.30 on 23rd December, 2022 (Friday) and reach Nagercoil Junction at 07.10 hrs on the next day i.e., Saturday.

Coach Composition: Two – AC First Class cum AC 2-Tier Coaches, Eleven – Sleeper Class Coaches, Three – General Second Coaches and & One General Second Class (Divyangjan Friendly) & Luggage cum Brake Van: (Total: 17)

Stoppages: Tambaram, Chengalpattu Junction, Villupuram Junction, Vriddhachalam Junction, Tiruchchirappalli Junction, Dindugal Junction, Madurai Junction, Virudhunagar Junction, Satur, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli Junction and Valliyur.

3. Train No 06046 / 06045 Ernakulam Junction – Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Ernakulam Junction Special fare special trains

Train No. 06046 Ernakulam Junction – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Special fare special will leave Ernakulam Junction at 23.20 on 22nd December, 2022 (Thursday) and reach Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 11.30 hrs on the next day i.e., Friday.

In the return direction, Train No. 06045 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Ernakulam Junction Special fare special will leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 14.50 on 23rd December, 2022 (Friday) and reach Ernakulam Junction at 03.10 hrs on the next day i.e., Saturday.

Coach Composition: One – AC 2-Tier Coach, Four – AC 3-Tier Coaches, Ten – Sleeper Class Coaches, Three – General Second Coaches and & Two General Second Class (Divyangjan Friendly) & Luggage cum Brake Vans: (Total: 20)

Stoppages in both directions: Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad Junction, Coimbatore Junction, Tiruppur, Erode Junction, Salem Junction, Jolarpettai Junction, Katpadi Junction, Arakkonam Junction.

Train No. 06046 Ernakulam Junction – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Special fare special will have additional stoppage at Perambur.

South Western Railway Special Trains Christmas Festival and New Year 2023

For the convenience of commuters and to clear the extra rush during the upcoming Christmas festival and New Year, South Western Railway has decided run special trains on demand with special fare as detailed below:-

I. Train No. 06505 Yesvantpur – Vasco Da Gama one-way Express Special.

Accordingly, this train will depart from Yesvantpur at 06:15 PM on 23rd December 2022 to reach Vasco Da Gama at 9 AM on the next day.

En route, the train will have stoppages at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulem and Madgaon stations.

The train will have a composition of 1-AC Two Tier Coach, 2-AC Three Tier Coaches, 9- Sleeper Coaches, 5-General Sitting Coaches, 2-Second Class cum Luggage & Brake Vans.

II. Train No. 06211 / 06212 Mysuru – Kochuveli – Mysuru Express Special (2 trips).

1.Train No. 06211 Mysuru – Kochuveli Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 11:30 PM on December 23 & 25, 2022 and arrive at Kochuveli at 07:20 PM on the next day.

2.In the return direction, Train No. 06212 Kochuveli – Mysuru Express Special will depart from Kochuveli at 10 PM on December 24 & 26, 2022 and arrive at Mysuru at 04:45 PM on the next day.

En route, the train will have stoppages at Mandya, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganaseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam and Kollam stations in both directions.

These trains will have a composition of 17 Coaches comprising of 4 – AC Two tier coaches, 11 – AC Three tier Coaches and 2 – Luggage cum brake vans with Generator cars.

III. Train No. 06221 / 06222 Mysuru – Kannur – Mysuru Express special (2 trips).

1.Train No. 06221 Mysuru – Kannur Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 11:30 PM on 30.12.2022 and 01.01.2023 and arrive at Kannur at 05:15 PM on the next day.

2.In the return direction, Train No. 06222 Kannur – Mysuru Express Special will depart from Kannur at 08:55 PM on 31.12.2022 & 02.01.2023 and arrive at Mysuru at 02:30 PM on the next day.

En route, the train will have stoppages at Mandya, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Ottapalam, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara & Tellicherry stations in both directions.

These trains will have a composition of 17 Coaches comprising of 4 – AC Two tier coaches, 11 – AC Three tier Coaches and 2 – Luggage cum brake vans with Generator cars.

IV. Train No. 07687 / 07688 Narasapur – Yesvantpur – Narasapur Express Special (1 trip).

1.Train No.07687 Narasapur – Yesvantpur Special Express will depart from Narasapur at 03:10 PM on December 25, 2022 to reach Yesvantpur at 10:50 AM on the next day.

2.In the return direction, Train No.07688 Yesvantpur – Narasapur Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 03:50 PM on December 26, 2022 to reach Narasapur at 08:30 AM on the next day.

En route, the train will have stoppages at Palakollu, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudiwada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Giddallur, Nandyal, Dhone, Anantapur, Dharmavaram,Penukonda, Hindupur and Yelahanka stations in both directions.

The train will have a composition of 2 -AC Three Tier Coaches, 12- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4-General Second Class Sitting Coaches and 2 Second Class Luggage cum and Brake Vans.
